When times are tough, it appears the tough remodel bathrooms. Statistics from thus far in 2011 indicate that a large chunk of remodels are bathroom renovations (in Houston and around the country.)

In addition, it looks like the ways people are remodeling their bathroom spaces have changed. Instead of uber-trendy remodels that focus on the short-term, many remodelers are beginning to think about the long-term when it comes to their bathroom renovation in Houston. Even those far from retirement age are focusing on changes that will make their spaces easier to use as they age. Common renovation trends that fall under this umbrella are easy-open cabinetry and showers and baths that are more accessible.
